Video Interview

Get Started

Before you begin the video interview process, you’ll need to create a VidCruiter account. VidCruiter is the online platform used for conducting BCom Video Interviews. Follow Step 1 below for detailed instructions on how to setup your account.

What to Expect

You’ll answer three pre-recorded video questions using the VidCruiter platform. The interview is designed to help us get to know you — your personality, your thinking, and your communication style.

Here’s how it works:

  • Questions 1 & 2: Interview-style prompts. You’ll describe a real or hypothetical situation, explain your actions, and share your reasoning.

  • Question 3: A creative challenge — you’ll respond to a fictional scenario and explain how you’d approach it.

Don't worry — you’ll get a chance to practice before recording your formal responses. There are no right or wrong answers — we value thoughtful, authentic responses.

How to Prepare & What We’re Looking For

The questions are open-ended and based on your opinions, experiences, and values — and you’re the expert on you.

Strong responses will:

  • Be authentic and unscripted (avoid reading from notes)

  • Reflect professionalism and maturity

  • Show you understood the question

  • Include clear reasoning and relevant examples

We assess you on:

  • Communication Skills – Clear, confident, and organized delivery

  • Critical Thinking – Your ability to analyze and explain your thought process

  • Creativity & Problem-Solving – How you approach unfamiliar scenarios

  • Authenticity Under Pressure – How genuine and composed you are with limited prep time

The Video Interview Process

The video interview is your opportunity to showcase how you think critically, handle pressure, articulate your thoughts, and stand out as a BCom applicant. It goes beyond written responses and lets us see the real you.
